Really nice use of colours and paint! Though an unoriginal painting, I can still appreciate the work put into it.

And as for the movie this painting is based on...I didn't like it, personally. I found it too clichéd. The story in this film has been done to death, and it's sooo predictable! As I watched the film, I guessed every plot twist correctly, and that's not good for a movie like this. There were good parts in this film, but the bad parts of this film are just so overwhelming that I couldn't enjoy it.

Anyways, you're entitled to your own opinion, and I think it's great that you enjoyed it!

Been a while since I've reviewed one of your works.

I love this robot design, and the amount of detail rivals the last robot I looked at from you. Love the names of NewGrounds members. I also love what you did with the background, and the great linework you did with the samurai.

The only problem I have with this robot, is the lack of a penis. I recommend fixing that problem ASAP.

Meh, her neck's a bit too long, but otherwise good artwork! Great job with the skirt, and really good work on the grass.

CherryLolo responds:

Haha yeah
Unfortunately I noticed it after I colored it. Oh well. For next time I know it.

Thanks :)

Amazing! I love the hair, lighting and ridiculously skimpy dress you made for this character! I really like this one, and totally not a a perverted way at all.

I only have one very insignificant nitpick with this one; the right hand looks weird. I really don't know why you drew her right hand clenched, but whatever. This artwork is great otherwise.

Nice one, mate! Looking forward to looking at more of your artwork! ~Retro

CherryLolo responds:

Glad you like it
Thanks for the hint
I know, I had the same feeling about it but I just can't draw hands yet XD

And as I look upon thee, I see chaos. Chaos that is too strong for my eyes to handle, and yet is enough for me to see. As I gaze upon this soulless creature, I think of my days; chaotic and watchable enough to make you feel ill of those days, but most of all, the nights.

Wonderful work at making this creature that has something to do with voids 'n such. Love it!

Huh, really? Studio Trigger? Well, I just finished watching Kill la Kill recently, so I guess I'll have to check it out later.

Oh, and really nice art style, man. And I find that this artwork has a very similar look to the water colour effect, and for photoshop, it looks very nice! Good work on replicating the look of this character that I am not familiar with.

TheUnseriousguy responds:

thanks dude, and yeah little witch acadamia has a really similar art style to kill la kill which is awesome :D

Ah cool, it's Shenron if he was on Yoshi's Island! I love your linework, and Shenron's looking badass as usual.

Good work, mate. ~Retro.

CroMagg responds:

Haha! you're totally right! I wasn't exactly going for that but that's a great observation.

Man now I just wanna re-play that game and have a grand 'ol time

Damnit, Dangerous-D. Anyways, the overall anatomy here is just wierd, how is her left leg able to bend like that? And what the hell is wrong with the blonde girl's left arm? It look broken, and I think that needs to be checked-on.

Other than that, it's all right. The coloring was pretty good, the line-work was also pretty good. And as for the position, well, it's pretty awkward and I don't think it's sexy at all. The whole point of drawing sexy cartoon women is to put them in sexy poses, and if you don't; it looks stupid and not sexy at all.

I've seen you do a lot better art submissions than this, and expect better from you, dude.

I love it! Looking at this reminds me that by October I'll be coming to a convention in London to see Stan Lee at a Q&A. Man, that's gonna be cool. Anyways, very nice use of stencil-work, and I love the outlines here.

Great work, mate.

Very nicely drawn! Not a fan of the color palette, though. I'm also not a big fan of the linework either, and Scotty reminds me a lot of Chucky from Rugrats.

Well, I hope you find the right wardrobe for this guy, and good luck improving your linework, Kimlinh!

I may have made one too many mistakes.
