Damn! This is your best work!

But don't take that as a compliment, cause it aint.

Enjoy life as modern-day Max Gilardi and...ANIMATE I SUPPOSE!

Carbonwater responds:

All day erry day.

Hmm. Bad voice acting, check. Mediocre animation, check. Crappy backgrounds, check. Good premise for a cartoon gone horribly wrong, checkity check check check.

Well, at least ya' tried, right? Well...if I had to say ONE good thing about this I'd say....The character design was pretty good? And some of the frame-work was also pretty well-done aswell? Well...Good job anyways.

Don't stop improving, and remember: I'm always watching you....I see you right now...Sitting on that wool chair....Wearing that beanie hat...Drinking your Coke....I'm so near....

WooleyWorld responds:

It's difficult for me to keep up with your animations, Retro. You have so many.

I do hope you watched If I Had One.
This chair is leather. I'm wearing a lumberjack hat. And I like Pepsi.
Are you sure you're stalking the right fellow?

May have been a shameless advertisement, but it was an entertaining one.
And who knows? I might buy the book one day...Just because your comics are a great read, and they make me laugh. Great work, fellas.

ToonHole responds:

Thanks! Our intention was to at least make it humorous, even if the potential audience wouldn't be interested in purchasing.

I came here, thinking "Just another dumb badly animated Newgrounds cartoon", until I finally decided to watch this thing.

I liked it. The dialogue was pretty well written with some bad mic quality to go with it. The pacing was good, and had that Gravity Falls look about it.

Throw it together with some pretty funny jokes that actually made me laugh at places, and you got an alright cartoon.

I honestly didn't expect this to be that good. An unexpected gem amongst all the complete garbage here on Newgrounds.

tylerghardin responds:

thank you! i'm glad you enjoyed it. the voices were recorded with ipod earbuds on a macbook with a bad audio input, so that's the reason for the poor quality.

After almost exactly a year, it's finally out, and we get a 4 minute short anime styled movie....I know animation can take a long-ass time but, it shouldn't take a whole year for a 4 minute short! When i first saw the teaser i expected something like, 6-12 minutes long, on top of that, there really wasn't that much in this short. Just a whole lot of nothing. Nothing interesting at all to fill this incredibly short time-span. The animation was pretty decent, save for some animation errors like when Brian was mousing over the options to save or delete the text was over the mouse, so it shouldn't have taken this long!
The voice acting was pretty alright, they're overused voice actors but they did the job as these characters.

4 Stars for effort.

manuelberja responds:

The animating process sure took a lot of time, well I don't really know, I only had 8 hrs a week to work, and this project is sitting without progress for a year. by the time you saw the teaser, every scene you see now has already been produced and put on hold. discarded several scenes to make it look like the finished project, got busy at work and decided to move on, due to raise of standards. thank you for your review, it's really helpful.

After many months of waiting, after all the hype i got after knowing that Joseph freaking Kerska, (The original voice of wild woody for the Sega CD) that pretty much boosted the hype even further....It's finally here. I have to admit, after seeing this in my "Latest from favorites" list i just let out a great big "Meh", due to how long it's been. It's been so long since i saw that livestream that my hype just rotted away...And what do i think of this after many months (And possibly a year) of waiting? Eh, It's okay.

Great work, man! Good to see another one of your works submitted to Newgrounds!
The animation is great, i'm loving the shaky outlines, and the new things you've tried out for this cartoon. And you actually updated this for Newgrounds, instead of just posting the same video you put up on YouTube, that gives people a reason to watch this again, to see the differences between the orginal, and the updated version. This really has the spirit of Nintendo vesseled inside this brilliant piece of work.

You have beaten the 10th Animator, with all the LORE entries that had something to do with you, the Nopunintendo cartoons, And freaking Zubatman! You are well on your way to greatness.

Happy year of the Luigi to Jeremy, and everyone reading this review!
And remember: Don't fuck with Luigi.

TerminalMontage responds:

Thanks retro! :D And yeah, I did make a minor little change for NG, I kinda wish I did more but oh well [:

Pretty good, you're getting there. The character design was quite good, the lip-sync could have been better, and the backgrounds needed some work. But it was a good try, so, keep at it! =D

JaceC responds:

I need someone to do the backgrounds. I hate doing them cos they suck :(

Thank you very much for reviewing! Help me spread this if you can!

Brilliant animation and hilarious twist ending. You could be the new M. Night Shyamalan, sexual-lobster.

Sexual-Lobster responds:

noooo i don't want that curse.

One of the best pixel-based music videos i have ever seen.
Trippy animation, Tremendously fitting music toppled together with the trippy colours.

This here, Is a winner.

spacefader responds:

Thanks, Glad you like it !

I may have made one too many mistakes.
