Is good sho

This is what happens when you combine an extremely talented animator, weed and 3 days. You make a surrealist rap involving talking shit. Literally.

Everything that Jae makes more or less represents his life as a stoner, and it is wonderful in every single way. Now it's 420 blaze it day, best day of the year and is tim to rape about the Zeldas.

Jae responds:

aw man gee thanks man gawsh

If only Telltale's engine were as competant as this animation.

Really beautiful. I can't believe it took this long, but I've finally watched Steven Universe. I got around to it, and I literally cannot stop watching it! It's one of my all-time favourite cartoons that I've seen and I regret not having watched it sooner.

The art is gorgeous and fits the tone of the series well. And the music cover by your sis is really amazing, one of the best versions of "We Are the Crystal Gems" I've heard. Definitely checking her stuff out!

I feel you really did an amazing job here. The movement really makes it look better than it would if it were just a normal illustration of yours.

It's good to review something of yours again, man. Have a good one, friend.

ZeTrystan responds:

GOOD, you watched it! :)

I know! She's not even ued to the series, but she listened to the theme song and was all like "Ah, I like that song. Cool, I'll make a calm version of it to loop it." Thanks sis.

And thanks! I'm getting a little bit tired of my usual illustrations. I like movement (even if it's a little bit repetitive... but eh, what can I do).

And it's good to read one of your reviews again! Even if you're still being to generous. :D

I kinda like it! The animation, while minimal, is still pretty good. Voice acting is pretty good, but the sound quality on Scott's lines have a bit of echo and makes it really distracting.

So yep. Enjoyed it much more than the last one, indeed. Nice one, Scott-Falco!

ScottFalco responds:

Yeah I don't have the beat recording equipment but I'm getting a soundbox and a new mic for Xmas. I also got an audio guy now!

Since I did the voice of the "Let's Player" I'm kinda biased, but I don't give a shit.

This was brilliant both in a comedic sense and personal sense. Love what Qwerty did here, and I have become friends with a good human beng in the process of this creation, and for that, I'm grateful.

Truly excellant work, friend. Can't wait to work on more shit with you, man! :)

Qwertysaur responds:

<3 you man! :D

Jesus...! I can't believe this was finished in under 48 hours! Kudos to you guys for making this, seriously.

Great voice acting and animation from very talented people.

I see you're kinda back, good ol' Scott-Falco! I really liked this 'toon!

It's got pretty good voice-acting, but there's just one problem with that; the music. The music is way too damn loud, and it actually is louder than the voices so it's hard to hear the dialogue through the loud Kevin MacLeod music, but that's a pretty minor gripe.

Other than that minor gripe, the animation is also pretty good, though the outlines for the characters and background look really jagged for some reason, probably has something to do with the weird video quality, but whatevers. The animation and the colour pallette works with what's presented here and makes sense.

And it was pretty damn funny! Loved the twist at the end!

P.S. Spotted that Jon-Tron wanted poster, you sneaky devil.

The title of this CalArts project pretty much describes what this cartoon shows the viewer; something that happens to a lot of people, including myself.

Only until recently have I discovered that I'm socially awkward and nervous when meeting new faces and just talking to someone in a crowded environment. Back last year, while I still loved this short film, I laughed at the main character and found myself relating more to the woman who tried to help the man overcome his social awkwardness...but now, almost exactly one year later, I'm relating myself to the man floating in the air.

There is a lot of love, craftsmanship and care put into this film project and I still appreciate its message. What's truly amazing about this is how this animation was able to say so much in so little time, and the viewer gets the message the more he replays it.

This is a beautiful, funny, sad and overall amazing short film that even to this day, puts a warm smile on my face.

Watching this really brought me back to the early, simpler years of Newgrounds. Back when people were less of butts and more...cool, I guess.

It also gave me some good old memories of Josh's older works, and how beautiful of a man he truly is. I have always admired Josh as both a voice actor and a man. Watching this really shows how far he has come in recording lines of dialogue and just...everything, really.

It's a example of how Newgrounds, after all these years, is still more or less like it was all those years ago, back when Josh made his first Avatar dub.

Really great work, man, and I'm happy that you have decided to retrace your steps one last time.

TomaMoto responds:

Glad you enjoyed! I think newgrounds has always been full of butts, but I wouldn't have it any other way. All communities on the internet have members with varying degrees of manners and intelligence, but what I like about Newgrounds is that people feel free to be honest here. That is unlike, say, DeviantArt, where everyone everyone feels disingenuously friendly and even if you happen upon the worst crap possible, you'll find people complimenting it.

I may have made one too many mistakes.
