Now, I've never seen Mad Men, so I will watch it just because the internet tells me to. But, mainly because if the actual show's like this, I think I've found my favorite show.

This Pokémon parody is great. I loved the sketchy animation that the creator of this flash is known for.
What makes Bowz's flash cartoons so great isn't just the animation, or the subtle abundance of memes. It's the "jokes" and the way those jokes are told, which are in a dark way. Most people, including myself call it "dark humor" and I've been a big fan of dark humor ever since I watched Frankenstein and Doctor Strangelove, and the way Bowz places his jokes are both ingenious and quite clever in a stupid way, if that makes any sense.
And well, there's very little amount of actual voice-acting but I think Hans did an amazing job as Jessie and Walt, but more so as Walt, as I feel like he did the impression of Bryan Cranston's performance really well, despite the few lines Bowz gave Hans for Walt.
Pokémon parodies are rarely very good, and I feel like more animators need to have more creativity with parodying media instead of constantly making parodies of this franchise.
Great work, man!
I have been following/stalking you for a while, Yotam. When I was a child, and I used to be on YouTube almost all the time, watching Armake21 scream and curse into the microphone while ripping off the Angry Video Game Nerd, I used to occasionally watch a few NewGrounds flash cartoons.
One of the first NewGrounds flash animations I have ever saw, was Nameless 2. This cartoon both dazzled me, and brought me back to the days of being a stupid kid who liked stupid things on the internet. This took a while for me to review because I actually forgot about this series, and when I saw this in my follow box, I ignored it, even though it's in the featured section on NewGrounds I still ignored it because I dunno...I guess I've recently not cared very much about NewGrounds animations lately, which is probably why I have never checked this out until now.
While watching this I was like "What in the fuck is this shit?" Until the intro brought me back to those days. As soon as I saw those characters I immediately remembered this series, it's those lazy-ass character designs that were the most memerable part of the Nameless series, along with those lazy names and those lazy plotlines that are random for the sake of being random.
I love the Nameless series for being honest with itself for the most part, it's obvious that this series was made with a huge amount of imagination, and lack of any real meaning. Hell, this series was probably where you got your alias from, LazyMuffin. This cartoon really brought me back, thanks for that, Yotam.
I also loved how you brought back almost every single voice-actor that was in the original Nameless cartoons like Arin Handsome and Joshua Tomato, with a new guy by the name of Stamper at the very end of this masterpiece. Though, I'm not sure if Rina-Chan voiced the Mom here, so...
And goddamn! That animation is gorgeous! No problems here, and I see that your animation technique hasn't changed a bit, which is what I like to see from you.
Thank you, Yotam, for bringing back some good 'ol memories of the glory days of NewGrounds!
Well, I'm off to listen to that soundtrack for the next...week or two.
I would've wished for the world's biggest supply of condoms that the genie could spawn from his tiny tiny penis.
I loved the animation along with the improv "voice-acting" if you could call it that, and I guess you could, despite the stupidity in some of the voices.
I really liked this cartoon, and I honestly didn't expect to find this at-all good, but what I found was beautiful. The wishes were terrific and something to really stop and about the choices this boy made along his journey to have met a genie, a lamp, a special genie, a talking penguin and a fuck-ton of fruit rolls. The real question with this animation is who wouldn't make those wishes? Screw world peace! I want mah fruit rolls!
This movie/toon was pretty good. Not great, but good.
The voice acting was pretty bad, except, of course, for Joshua Tomar's introduction here. But coupled with the bad mic quality with some of the voice actors, it makes for some really awkward moments with some of the characters. I mean- you COULD make the excuse that the mic quality is bad because they're playing an online game, but I call bullshit on that one.
The animation is pretty alright! I like it. It's got style! And I don't know why, but I think it fits the world of DayZ very well for some weird reason...it's just...simple. I like it, even though I prefer more detailed animation.
And the last thing I feel like placing neatly in this review is this: I want a shot-gun frying pan in the full version of DayZ. That is all. Good day, sir.
"It wasn't quite shit, Grant" Haha.
"Because they're playing an online game" Haha. Can you imagine that excuse...
What makes you say the voice acting was bad? I'm curious. PM me. Was it the delivery, the quality? Which ones were specifically bad? You've got me alll curious since only a few people have brought it up.
I knew I'd have to do a more real, but detailed, background style than the usual. But I wouldn't have time to get too real. I feel I met a nice middle-ground.
Everybody loves the frying pan... :]
Parody, parody,
Does whatever a parody can
Spins aan average joke, any size,
Catches great animators, just like flies
Look Out!
Here comes the parody.
Is it strong?
Listen bud,
It's got overused shit.
Can it swing from a joke?
Take a look overhead
Hey, there
There goes the parody over at Newgrounds.
In the chill of night
At the scene of a animating session.
Like a streak of light
it arrives just in time.
Parody, parody
Unfriendly internet-hood parody
Popularity and fame
it's ingnored
bad and good reviews is his reward.
To it, life is a great big bang up
Whenever there's a hang up
You'll find the idea of a parody.
Oh look! A parody! Another Pokémon parody, eh? Well, alright, then!
The animation was pretty nice, with some great voice acting, but the concept has been done so many damn times already that the animation and voice acting really doesn't matter that much!
I preferred Ross' parody of Pokémon since it was an idea that hasn't even been thought of by animators before. What would the Pokémon games loom like in the future? It's a good question, with a joke that actually made me laugh, unlike most Pokémon parodies out there. This one just makes me go "*sigh* another one of these?"
I like RicePirate, and am a little bit of a fan of his, but he feels like making one, too?! C'mon!
This is one hell of an improvement upon the other "does a thing" 'toons.
The voice acting was alright with absolutely no mic popping, which I like to hear when listening to cartoons as opposed to watching them. Jirard just worked as Sirius with the voice he put on just for the character.
And GameBuddy also worked well as Bomber-Man!
Also, CrikerDave has an extremely minor role in this so, no-one cares about CrikeyDave being here!
The animation was the bomb! It synchronized well with the voice acting within this 'toon.
This cartoon was the bomb and it made me want to play Bomber-Man 64 again! Thanks for putting this 'toon to Newgrounds, guys!
Yes, RedMinus, this was accurate.
I loved the animation, the somewhat humourus joke, and the Ghosts!
The only thing inaccurate about this portrayal of Call of Duty: Ghosts however, is the lack of texture pop-in, stupid A.I, and space.
Other than those three things, this is pretty accurate. And when I played Call of Duty: Ghosts there were definately Ghosts involved. I don't know why all of my friends tell me that there are no Ghosts in this game, there clearly are! I mean- why would they put the word Ghosts and NOT have them in the game? That's just silly! Of course there are ghosts in Call of Duty: Ghosts!
I may have made one too many mistakes.
